Please disregard any rumor saying that the Imo State University Post
UTME scratch card is on sale. As at today, June 24, 2015, the form is
not yet on sale at any of the places they sale it in school (Library,
Micro finance bank and I.C.T center).
Many people are waiting and asking for the date when Imo State University, Owerri will commence sales of the 2015 Post UTME Registration scratch card.
However, as I wrote yesterday, the sales of the scratch card may not even commence this month, June, 2015 and may commence by mid or late July. There are two main reasons for this:
1) Change of Vice Chancellor: As you may already know, on 1st of June, 2015, Architect Prof. Ukachukwu Awuzie was removed from the position of Vice Chancellor of IMSU and Mrs. Adaobi Obasi became the acting Vice Chancellor of the university. This change means also that the new VC has to take some time to adjust to the office before major works.
2) NUC Accreditation: The Imo state university is currently on her toes preparing for the National Universities Council Accreditation exercise that will commence by 26th of June. There are a lot of works and shufflings going on and it is unlikely for the university to accommodate Post UTME Registration right now because all the manpower available is being pushed into the preparation to make sure no department looses out in the accreditation process.
Everyone is therefore adviced to be patient. Once the sales commence, we will be the first to let you know.
