IMSU FREE EDUCATION CONTINUES

Words have been flying around Imo state since two days ago that the free education in Imo state which is the major slogan of governor Rochas Okorocha has been scrapped. Some have gone to social media to say the governor has directed the Vice Chancellor of Imo state university to start collecting tuition fee from Imo state university students. Those who send out the message added that the governor made the move because of the financial problems in the country.
The governor also just returned to Imo state yesterday from a trip abroad. The school management of IMSU has also not made any such announcement.
Also, according to a post by an assistant to the governor on Facebook, Governor Rochas Okorocha has said that the free education continues to university level.
